Saw Mogwai last night @ the Orpheum. AUh-Mazing! I caught a live show many moons ago in San Diego and was blown away then and completely blown away again. This time around they had a fancy light setup programmed to the music. It was completely blinding but pretty fucking cool from our view in the balcony. I was hoping they’d play “the sun smells too loud” it’s my favorite jam off the new album. Seeing the title makes me giggle every time. We hit up little tokyo for daifuku’s beforehand and made a stop back for daikokuya on the way home. Couldn’t have orchestrated a more perfect evening.
Mental note: bring earplugs next time.
