Caught Lykke Li @ Masonic Lodge which is on the grounds of Hollywood Forever cemetery. Hands down one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles. She opened with a new song that was so beautiful, dark, and haunting. Some of her songs worked really well with the low lighting/eerie ambiance but for the most part it was hard to get into since there were chairs set up! I mean bitch has songs titled “dance, dance, dance” which was hard to do in that venue. There was a gay guy to my left that announced he was “going to cry” when lykke li came on stage. They were going ape shit, which I thought was cute at first but after getting whipped in the face by curly hair from his token fag hag numerous times .. the cute factor wore off.
